Anyone living in Scandinavia can adopt one of our dogs fairly easily, so if you want a certain type (one that can run with you, or one that is good with kids), please get in touch. Beyond the dogs listed for adoption, we have others rescued from farms in the recession to save them from being put down, and older dogs that could retire. We would rather they find the ideal home than keep running here.

Moving a dog overseas
For those living overseas, the inoculations and paperwork needed to get a dog ready to travel are complicated, expensive and time-consuming, but not impossible. As the lucky dogs page shows, our dogs have moved as far as Colorado and New York, and quite a few have travelled to the UK or Central Europe.

When measuring a dog for a travel box: A = the length of the animal from nose to root of tail; B = the height from the ground to the elbow joint; C = the width across the shoulders; and D = the height of the animal in a standing or sitting position, depending on which is higher.
