What we offer

Day care, boarding and a recovery centre for animals after trauma or surgery. We also act as a holding centre for pets stopped at the Norwegian border when their papers are not in order.

  • Finland from Norway: dogs need Echinococcus treatment on top of the standard requirements
  • Norway or Sweden from Finland: no extra treatment needed
  • Via Sweden: new legislation requires you to report your journey or transit in advance
02

Good to know before you book

  • Availability: depends on the season and what else is happening at the farm, so please ask
  • Summer visitors: treat your dog with Bayvantic against mosquitos before arrival (also a dewormer, available from any pharmacy)
  • Food: bring your dog's own for short stays or allergies, as dogs take a while to adapt to a new diet
  • Most guests stay outside, on a running circle chain or in a cage near our house
03

Health requirements

Your dog will live near our dogs, train in the same areas and meet our guides, so on arrival they must be:

  • Recently dewormed, with a note of the medication used
  • Up to date with vaccinations, vaccination book in hand
  • Generally healthy, free of fleas and mites

If we find your dog needs flea or mite treatment while here, we will try to contact you and charge the medicine at pick-up.

Why our food is worth it

With over 100 dogs to feed we order meat and kibble by the tonne and pass the saving on to locals who cannot buy in bulk.

  • Zip is energy-rich for strenuous exercise, high in protein and vitamin E
  • 4.0% dried salmon for essential fatty acids, plus chondroitin and glucosamine for joints
  • No wheat, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives
  • Supplied as kibble and raw meat, usually in 10-15kg blocks

Room for your dog?

Space depends on the season, so ask us early.
