We joined TripAdvisor at the end of 2015 and earned its Certificate of Excellence in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
GOLD - World Responsible Tourism Awards 2015
We took GOLD in the Animal Welfare category of the 2015 World Responsible Tourism Awards at the World Travel Market in London, after an assessment that began over six months earlier. From the largest-ever long-list of c. 200 companies across over 69 countries, just 37 from 20 countries made the final cut, ours the first Finnish company to get that far.
Travel and Hospitality Awards
The Travel and Hospitality Awards named us 'Cultural Tour Company of the Year' for Finland (2019-20) and 'Adventure Activity of the Year' for Finland (2019).
The Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Award
In 2006 Anna received a Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Award for leading an inclusive crossing of the Greenland Icecap with paralympic athlete Karen Darke on the team. We have rehosted most of the expedition website so the kit and clothing developed for it can help others follow in Karen's footsteps.
