Fatmax-Joring (Sled-Dog Fat-Tire Kick-Biking)
Kick-joring with huskies on fat-tyred kick-bikes ('Fatmaxes') on our 2km farm trail - a year-round taster of being pulled by the dogs.
Kick-joring with huskies on fat-tyred kick-bikes we call 'Fatmaxes'. No experience is needed, we match the dogs to your pace. You just need the coordination to steer and brake confidently.
Husky Fatmax
The whole experience runs on our 2km farm trail and takes about an hour, farm tour, harnessing your own dogs, the ride and returning them to their kennels included.
It runs year round with two caveats. Summer must be cool enough for the dogs. In winter the 2km track must be firm, as it sees less traffic than our 6km trail.
Group sizes & equipment
For taster rides we have four quads, 3 Fatmaxes and one 'go-cart-bike' contraption. That lets us take 4-5 adults or 6 children by quad, 3 people on Fatmaxes and 1 on the go-cart with a guide. Larger groups simply split between quad, Fatmax and go-cart.
