This page lists the theft, loss and damage replacement values for our rental items. Used as designed, the equipment should not get damaged, but for peace of mind you can buy liability reduction insurance at €10/day, so you are not liable for the first €100 of repair costs (this covers most issues bikes are returned with).

Rental prices are usually charged in advance, though insurance fees can also be paid at pick-up. To rent from us you must present ID and provide contact details. Use of rental equipment is always at the tenant's own risk, and lost or non-returned items incur the full replacement cost of that item.

Example Extraction Transfer Costs

Pallas, 180km round trip, €120. Näkkälä, 80km, €55. Kalmakaltio, 124km, €92. Ketomella / Hietajärvi, 98km, €75. Repairs in situ: €50 minimum call-out charge (to a roadhead) plus the standard cost of the transfer to that place, subject to availability. Roadside extraction is distance dependent, e.g. €60 from Näkkälä or €90 from Kalmakaltio.
