Evening Feed Challenge
A hands-on alternative to a standard farm visit - help prepare and deliver the evening feed and taste life as a guide, pup cuddles included.
Stay in Hetta more than a couple of days and you will wonder what happens between 5.30 and 6.30pm. Nothing bad. It is simply a hungry husky pack barking eagerly for food, then howling in appreciation.

A hands-on experience
This is for those who want a truly hands-on encounter with the dogs, and the first real taste of a guide's daily work. It starts with preparing the food and moving it to the farm, by quad and trailer in summer, by pulk in winter.

Feeding the pack
You join an experienced guide in the cage area, which involves the least lifting and is the most fun, since that is where the unruly pups live. Your guide explains why different dogs get different amounts, how weekly dog checks set those portions, and why good nutrition and hydration matter. Even children can enjoy it safely.
