Leadership training and team-building events
We have run client-customised team-building events for international clients including Salomon, Suunto, Hartwall, the RGS-IBG and the BBC, showing in practice how maximising team efficiency leads to success while outdoor teamwork restores balance, patience, adaptability and perseverance in a workforce.
The format always combines a classroom and an outdoor element geared to participants' fitness and expertise, from team challenges to guided wilderness adventures. We have also delivered classroom leadership training to General Electric and Shell.
Promotional campaigns and product testing
We have designed and executed large promotional campaigns with linked televised footage for Hartwall (multi-year campaigns promoting Lapin Kulta through televised adventure racing and reality-TV-style heli-skiing camps), Nike-ACG (a two-week heli-skiing event with their key European customers) and Visit Finland (the 100 Days of Polar-Night Magic campaign).
We have run product-testing and outdoor skill-development camps for GE, Snow-and-Rock, Nike-ACG, Tisos and Cotswold Outdoors, including Cotswold Outdoors' premier skills and product-training event for staff in Arctic Norway over a number of years.
Animal-centred tourism and motivational talks
For the past 10 years Anna and Pasi have spoken, from small groups to conferences, on 21st-century ethics and sustainable practice in animal-centred tourism, covering sled-dog welfare and business ethics, well-intentioned but misinformed animal-rights activism, and non-confrontational land-use cooperation in Lapland.
Motivational talks are offered on different themes and in different languages, including 'South Pole the Long Way, One Day at a Time', 'No Fear, No Limits, Boundless Horizons', 'From the Arctic to the Antarctic', 'A Winning Team Has One Heart', 'Developing World-Class Performance in Teams', 'The Power of Co-operation' and '10 Lessons from the Road'.
