Summer Taster Ride with the Dogs
A hands-on summer mushing experience by quad bike, troll cart or fatmax, with a farm tour and a 2km run with the dogs.
Our summer mushing experience includes a farm tour (when booked in advance) and is very hands-on. You will feel the thrill of running with the dogs and learn what it takes to keep a team steady in the line.

How it works
We assemble the team with your help, generally 5-8 dogs per cart or quad. Each 2km round takes about 10 minutes with a recovery stop half way. All tours cost €42 per adult and €32 per child, by quad, trollcart, bike or kickbike.
Troll carts
Guests or guides can drive the carts. Very small children sit on a parent's knee, and from c.4 years beside an adult. Drivers get full instructions first, passengers can swap half-way, and a guide always rides the first cart or quad.
Quads
Quads are guide-driven unless conditions suit an adult taking part of the route. 1 adult (or 2 children) can ride each of the two quads. Afterwards, help us thank the dogs with a cool drink before walking them back to their kennels.

Or ride the same 2km loop on a fat-max scooter or fatbike at the same cost, so in a larger group some can take a quad while others pedal. We have four quads, three fat-max and one 'go-cart-bike'.
Morning or Afternoon Training Sessions
An extra 2km loop, or a second piece of equipment, costs €10/person. In training season (just before and after the main winter season), join a full morning or afternoon session, Adults €80, Children €45, with teams running 4km to 16km depending on their programme.
