Visit to Hetta's Award-Winning Husky Farm
It would be a shame to leave without visiting the highest award-winning husky farm in Scandinavia. The guided tour delights visitors and dogs alike, extras such as hot drinks with a packed lunch are easily arranged, and some groups stay for the evening feeding.
The Nature Centre & Panoramic Hike
Most groups arrive in time for the Fell Lapland Nature and Cultural Centre, the Skierri, home to one of Lapland's largest Sami exhibitions and c.25,000 visitors a year. Then climb Jyppyrävaara Hill, a pagan site with panoramic views over the Pallas-Ylläs National Park. A friendly husky often comes along.
