Aurora Magic

We offer a number of 2-4 day route suggestions, built around nights in wilderness cabins, for those who want to head out in search of the northern lights. The standard product begins with an introductory day covering the region and arctic nature, with talks on the northern lights and the stars.

The hiking routes

We then spend 2 days hiking from either Pallas to Hetta or, as a gentler alternative, Kettomella-Tappuri-Hetta. The cabins along this trail, the premier hiking route in Finland, are deservedly popular.

The second two-day journey heads into a wilderness landscape few venture into, with the night spent at the comfortably equipped but very remote Palojöki cabin on the edge of the Tarvontavara Wilderness Area.
