A vast number of snowmobile routes start right around Hetta. At the height of the season we run snowmobile tours mainly early morning or late afternoon, as the machines back up our daytime husky tours. If you see no availability a week before arrival, give us a call, as we release tours once we know our capacity.

Heated Bubble Sleigh

The heated bubble sleigh needs different snowmobiles and drivers, so we charge for a minimum of 4 people, and you can cover the price for 6 pax to make sure the tour runs. Person in a heated bubble sleigh: €150 pp, or €200 pp on the Northern Lights Safari.

Aurora Snowmobile-Snowshoe Adventure Package

For something special, take our snowmobile-snowshoe combination package to our hidden aurora cabin on a secluded hilltop in the middle of nowhere. We reach the base of the wooded hill on shared snowmobiles (we'll teach you to drive them safely) or the bubble sleigh, then snowshoe the short climb, relax over hot coffee and cookies, and descend to ride back to base.

Though relatively close to Hetta, it really feels remote - we have even seen elk carcasses and bear footprints outside this cabin in spring. Distance and c. duration: 20km and c. 4 hours. Price €200 per person, normally offered to groups of 6 or more. Includes a helmet, guide, snowmobile / sleigh and hot drinks in our aurora cabin.
