Canoe, kayak and other water kit for hire, with day and week prices listed and reductions over two weeks. For rent we have 3 x 2-seater canoes, 3 x 3-seater canoes, 11 single touring kayaks, 1 double touring kayak, 2 children's kayaks and 3 inflatable SUP boards. Further kayaks and canoes (including racing K1s, a K2, a wavehopper and sea kayaks) may be available on request.

Recommended Local Paddle: Suonttajoki-Ounasjärvi
A wonderful close-to-home paddle on the Suonttajoki River, a c.3-hour facilitated journey we recommend to all our visiting friends and family.
- How it works: a guide walks you from the homestead to the canoes (about 7 minutes away), helps you to the water and gives basic paddling tips
- The route: you meander down the Suonttajoki and across Lake Ounasjärvi to a community fireplace on the far shore, perfect for grilling sausages, before paddling back
- Cost: €20/person for canoes (2-3 people per canoe) and €45/person for kayaks, including buoyancy aid and paddle

Transfers & Guiding
Competent paddlers can simply rent the boats, and we can organise transfers to and from river put-ins and take-outs. If you would like extra confidence we are happy to guide you, and on some rivers that opens up overnight wilderness cabins we do not otherwise rent out.
