Bike kit for hire, with day and week prices listed and reductions for periods of two weeks or more. In winter we fit studded tyres to a number of our bikes, in summer standard fatbike tyres, and we occasionally rent out standard mountain bikes too.

The Bikes
Our fleet covers adults, children and dog-powered fun.
- E-Fat Bikes: 3 x S/M, 5 large and 1 XL, 'S-Electros' from Silverback plus S/M and M/L 'Avalanche' bikes from Rock Machine. The E-fats winter in a heated store downtown, so a €20 supplement on winter hire prices covers issuing and returning them
- Adult Fat Bikes: 3 small, 3 medium and 4 large, 'Charge' Cooker Maxi 2s, Nakamura Mammut, 'Salsa' Mukluk and 'Felt' DD30s
- Children's bikes: 2 fat bikes (suitable c.8-12 yrs), both Scoop Half bikes from Silverback, plus one small children's mountain bike for a 6-9 year old
- Fat Max Scooters: kick-bikes with fat tyres, most often used for fat-max-joring with the dogs but also fun for kicking around locally

Where to Go
We are happy to advise on trails, and our guided route options suit a quick tester ride or put a guide alongside you in case of mechanical issues.
- Collection: please ride to and from our site, just 4km from the centre of town, rather than transferring the bikes, as most damage we see comes from careless transport
- Winter riding: you can bike on maintained trails right from our yard
- Maps and apps: we use apps such as rewindr, jahtikartta and karttaselain, and local bike trail maps can be found on 'ULKO'

Insurance, Liability & Replacement Values (from the Price List)
Insurance takes the worry out of a rental, and the examples below show what damage or a rescue would otherwise cost.
- Liability-reduction insurance: €10/day (bike), removing your responsibility for the first €100 in repair costs, which covers the majority of issues
- Full-package damage waiver: €25/day against any item rented
- Emergency Roadhead Extraction Insurance: €10/day
- Damage Waiver + Extraction bundle: €25/day, covering the first €250 liability plus roadside recovery
- Deposits: for 2-day+ rentals we may require a damage deposit (credit-card charge plus a photo ID)

Rental Terms & Conditions
A few simple conditions keep the bikes in good shape for everyone.
- Payment and ID: rental prices are charged in advance, insurance fees can be paid at pick-up, and you will need to present ID and provide contact details
- Your responsibility: use of equipment is at the renter's own risk, and bikes must be returned in the same good condition, ordinary wear and tear excepted
- Preparation: each bike is professionally checked and fitted before your arrival and wiped with alcohol solution before and after use. Please check it and ride a test circuit in the yard on receipt
- What we cover: failures beyond the renter's control (e.g. damaged frames, worn bottom brackets) but not tune-ups, punctures, broken spokes, chains or derailleurs, or damage from use or misuse
- Competence: instruction in bicycle use and maintenance is not provided, so participants must be competent with a multi-speed bicycle
