Hetta Huskies Privacy Statement
How we collect, process and protect your personal data under the GDPR.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in effect since 25 May 2018, protects the fundamental right to privacy for every EU resident, giving them a greater say over what, how, why, where and when their Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is used, processed or disposed of. Any organisation that handles EU residents' personal information, wherever it is located, is obliged to protect that data.
- GDPR-compliant since 25 May 2018
- Data controller: CAPE Lapland Oy / Hetta Huskies

Key definitions
'PII' (Personally Identifiable Information) is any information relating to an identifiable person, directly or indirectly - names, an ID number, location data, an online identifier such as cookies, or features expressing the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity of that person.
'Processing' means any operation carried out with or without automated procedures in connection with personal data, covering practically every aspect of handling it. 'Responsible' means whoever decides on the purposes and means of processing, in this case CAPE Lapland Oy / Hetta Huskies and any third parties we cooperate with. 'Data Subjects' have the right to know what data we hold, to access or correct it, to restrict its processing or delete it, and to object to future processing at any time.
02Hetta Huskies' commitment
We have always honoured our users' right to data privacy, and as a small business we collect and process personal information only as our products require. We carried out a mini data protection impact assessment (DPIA) covering the PII that we and our third-party partners collect, how it is processed, and when and how it is disposed of.
