Frequently Asked Questions
Everything we get asked most often, in one place: booking, kit and clothing, life on a safari, the dogs, and how to pick your month.
How to book a multi-day safari, step by step. First choose your safari length preference: 5-day, 2-day or 3-day (from mid-March). A Northern-Lights-Night & day product is sometimes available when we are too busy to run a full 2-day tour.
- Choose safari length and the best month for you
- Pick ground-only or all-inclusive 7-/8-day packages
- Deposit invoice secures your place (subject to cancellation terms)
- Complete client info forms and review the kit list before arrival
Choose your safari and timing
Each safari has a detailed 'day-by-day' guide. Think about whether you want to blaze trails at the start of the season (January), risk the cold of February, enjoy the consolidating trails of March, or the long sunny days of April. Then check whether we still have space on your safari of choice.
02Ground-only or all-inclusive
For a 5-day tour, decide between our ground-only prices and our all-inclusive 7-day (Saturday-Friday) or 8-day (Saturday-Saturday) packages, which include airport transfers from Enontekiö airport and room and board the night before and after. The 8-day package also includes a free day in the area. Transfers from Kittilä airport can be arranged for an added fee.
03Confirm, pay and prepare
Once we confirm availability and you confirm your place, we send a deposit invoice, or a full invoice if booking late. On payment your place is assured, subject to the cancellation clauses in the Multiday Tour Dossier & Info Pack. Finally, complete and return the client information forms covering your health, fitness, equipment and dietary requirements, and review the kit list and emergency instructions ahead of time.
