Life as a husky guide
Emily writes about her life calling as a husky guide and her favourite dog, Bino. Lonan's guiding article pairs well with Em's, alongside a short story about life in Valimaa. Doris writes (in German) of a Swiss mountain girl's time in the far North, and Catherine and Andy's goodbye blog captures how hard it is to leave the all-consuming chaos behind.
Guides who stayed connected
Josh features on his university's Alumni page and Adventure.com for working here and with sled-dogs in Australia. Rhi completed part of her Southampton University undergraduate project with us. Luke, here for the 2014/2015 season, returned to adopt our Taimyr Drizen, and the pair now travel Europe in a van. Jaelithe (Jay) Swan looked after our dogs twice and follows their development from afar.
Adoption, travel and journalism

Journalist Cal Flyn guided here in the arctic winter of 2012, returned in 2014 and, despite her dramatic front-page Telegraph Magazine article, enjoyed her stay. Gabin Desserprit spent 7 months with us, Mark wrote about life as a trainee guide, and the malamute owners at Northern Most, who holiday in Hetta, recommend us too.
